     In this decree, I shall bring your attention to the norms of Babylonian society. If you are to blend in with this society and be a part of it, you should know how things such as education, family life, religion, and laws work under my rule. You should first know education under Babylon rule. 

    Firstly, in order to gain any sort of basic education, cuneiform writing should be mastered and understood, as it is the base script of our Kingdom. Secondly, you should be acquainted with mathematics and astronomy, as it will be taught in schools, and you should know the basics of it, as the Babylonian society is a pioneer in developing new concepts in these realms. Thirdly, you should at least study basic literature and respect our mythology, as us Babylonians associate our identity with our mythology and folklore. 

    You should know family life if you are to start a family under my rule. The man provides financially, as it should be, and the woman provides for the house, by caring for their children. Extended family is very important if you are to live with a Babylonian family, and you should be informed that many generations live in one household. As well as all this, know that inheritance laws are different under our rule, and play a big part in family life and society. 

    Babylonian religion should also be made known, as it is a baseline of Babylonian society. Babylonians believe in many different gods and goddesses, meaning Babylonians are polytheistic and follow their gods in many different aspects of their life. Babylonians place special importance on temples, as it is their place of worship and administration. They also place a heavy conscious on omens, as Babylonians believe they are signs and predict the future.

     Lastly, you should know laws under us. Hammurabi’s Code should be standard knowledge, as it was our most recent set of laws and a cornerstone in our current politics and social rules. Also, I, the King, have the highest religious and political authority, which means you are under a monarchy. Our warfare and relations shape our politics, as we often interact with neighbouring states, or overpower them in the case of this state.

     The Babylonian Empire was a rich and complex kingdom- and one of the largest of its time. It was mixed with unique cultural traditions, lavish temples, and laws of its own. However, in Babylonian civilization, there were few artifacts that continued their legacy into future civilizations and generations. Today, we will be naming those artifacts that represent a carried legacy of Babylon. The first is cuneiform writing, then The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and last, but not least, Hammurabi’s Code. The Fall of Babylon - Artifacts

       Many factors deal with the rise and fall of empires. The decline of the Babylonian Empire can be explained, however, by examining three artifacts: a fragmented ziggurat brick, a cuneiform tablet talking about economic strife, and a damaged relief with drawings showing foreign invasions. These artifacts, all together, illustrate the fall of religious, economic, and military pillars which contributed to the downfall of the Babylonian Dynasty.  Babylon - History Extra            Firstly, we can refer back to a fragmented ziggurat brick, connected to a broken wall of a ziggurat, to translate the dramatic fall of the Babylonian Empire.
